The EVE GALLAGHER BAND delivers powerful blues and soul – honest, earthy, and full of feeling.

At its heart is the charismatic singer Eve Gallagher, whose unmistakable voice and stage presence have captivated audiences for decades. Today, she is part of a tightly-knit band that brings energy and intensity to every live performance.

At the core of the band are Eve Gallagher and bassist Uli Heinzler. Together, they write and compose all the songs, while Uli shapes the band’s distinctive sound as producer.

Their music tells real stories, filled with life experience, longing, and hope.

The band also includes René Rothacher (guitar), Roman Roth (drums, band member Simply Red), and Philippe Kocher (keyboards & organ). Years of live experience, passion for performing, and a natural groove give each song its unmistakable energy.

With their current album Roots and the singles Freedom and Getting Old, the band returns to the roots of blues and soul: raw grooves, heartfelt arrangements, and intense live energy define their sound. Every track reflects the personalities of the musicians and their passion for handcrafted music.

Eve Gallagher was born in Sunderland, in the northeast of England, grew up in West Africa, and achieved international recognition in the 1990s with club hits like “You Can Have It All,” produced by Boy George, as well as a 22-state US tour. These experiences inform the band’s musical maturity and compelling live presence today.

In 2025, the EVE GALLAGHER BAND won the Swiss Blues Challenge, a testament to their rootedness in the contemporary blues scene.
